They’re clearly trying to make Horizon a beloved franchise with the amount of games and media it’s getting (Netflix series), so they probably see the Switch port of Lego Horizon as a way of growing interest in the IP.

I didn’t play either games, but on the surface level, BOTW and HZD had some similarities (open-world action-adventure games featuring a bow-wielding protagonist and a machine theme for their enemies). I just don’t see Horizon garnering a passionate fanbase however.

People are saying it looks the same as all the other Lego games (“play one and you’ve already played ‘em all”), but the only Lego games I’ve played are Builder’s Journey and Bricktales, so this Lego Horizon game should be a somewhat fresh experience for me
