Which can only mean one thing:

The reveal is this year, I see it being the September Direct

They said “fiscal year” for more news on Switch 2, which lasts until April 2025.
And they’re projecting to sell 13.5 million Switch units during this fiscal year; since they would like to sell that many then it’s best to wait until AFTER the holidays have passed

PS2 sold over 50m units after PS3 dropped, imo new console doesn’t effect sales that much, what does is a price drop and switch is about to get one

Well Nintendo does think it has an impact on sales; they’ve already deployed this same strategy in the past (the NA & EU launches of New 3DS).

They have a sales projection they want to achieve, so they’re gonna try whatever they can to reach it or even surpass it.

They don't operate the same way anymore and have a new president...

no way they reveal Switch DX in January to sell it in March lol unless it doesn't have any crazy launch games?
