Lan port was needed but i am not going to buy a new model for it.
Also i think the pro model is something different. There is a reason Nintendo announced this so lowkey

If a pro model does drop it'll be dropping late next year most likely

"Nintendo is announcing a new Switch model today with a larger 7-inch 720P OLED display. This new model uses an upgraded chip from Nvidia, allowing the handheld to output at 1080p when connected to a TV. The Switch (OLED model) will go on sale for $350 starting on October 8th."
All they needed to do was output 4k and have an DLSS enabled chip
cmon Nintendo

They already changed it back to 1080p.... This is such a weird move by Nintendo, but it's definitely gonna work well for them
"Oh it's just 50 dollars more but the screen is way better"
Nintendo proves once again they are out of touch
That said
Lets scalp this thing
This model is clearly not meant for people that already have a Switch. Dont get the meltdown here
I just think this is another way Nintendo is tryna combat hacked Switch consoles that are still out there. Why hold onto your old v1 Switch consoles when you can trade that in towards a new shiny OLED model?
hope old switch model gets phased out when this drops. but knowing nintendo they love market confusion
