I think the Switch can extend its lifecycle by indie devs and major publishers alike putting out AA and smaller scale games akin to the Game Boy/Advance/(3)DS days. Indie games are killing it and with uncertainty in the AAA space Switch still has a space it can occupy for the next generation.

Don't know how true this Direct supposedly set for next week is but there's that.
