Playing Metroid Prime 4 with pointer / mouse controls so soon
Damn there's a double mouse setup too, wonder what that could be used for
anyone else remember when Metroid prime 3 dropped on the Wii? it was my fav game on the console tbh, countless nights staying up, getting immersed, and yeah I sucked I was 12. And even when lost and confused I was still having fun
So surreal that we’re finally getting the sequel decades later

Mario maker 3 and the new DOOM

Most likely the Kid Icarus remake/sequel that’s been allegedly in development
We are officially 50 days away from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct which will take place on April 2.
It has already been almost a month since we got the first official trailer (which was 26 days ago), and we're only about a month and a half away from April 2. Crazy how time flies.
Be blessed and have a nice week y'all.

Wow that’s really cool, Nintendo seems to have popped off with this design tbh
The UI must have a cute little overhaul if the screen is gonna have screen flipping ala smartphones.
playing mario odyssey blind. beautiful game that has that satisfying bounce nintendo perfected, but boringly easy. might have to ditch it.

Anyone else not really care about mouse functionality? For shooters I prefer playing with gyro tbh, playing with a mouse while vegging out on the couch doesn’t feel right IMO. It’s nice to have more options, I just hope this doesn’t mean developers neglect adding gyro support to their games

I went from mp1 to the third and it was amazing. I had those same nights with mp1 but the third was f***ing insane, the all nighters were unreal

I play games with mouse on my couch a lot, specifically marvel rivals
Idk how well it will work with the joy cons, I might be more interested in third party controllers using it
it comes more down to what it can run for me. if I can play fortnite, roblox, rivals, and other basic games like that on the switch with the mouse joycons, this will be a game changer for me at work when im working with kids. though I got a retroid5 coming that can do all that - but getting access to more computer games in general will be huge
plus, ill be able to play stardew that way which will be awesome

The joycons will still have gyro. The best case scenario (and its not even that unlikely) is a lot of 3rd parties and all Nintendo 1st parties will have both right stick, gyro and mouse controls.
And ngl i'll try and use mouse mode as much as i can cause i think its a very cool concept and i can see it improving a lot of games that were good even with gyro. Cant wait to try splatoon out with it. Maybe even try a fortnite match or two lol

Honestly I think this is a great thing because mouse aim converts to gyro 1:1.
It's how it works on Steam. On an OS level I can add gyro to any game. It'd be nice if you could do something like that.
Also I don't think they'll neglect gyro still. It's a growing control scheme and on console it makes way more sense.
Mouse functionality will probably be highlighted for certain games more than others.
Nintendo is just adding more ways to "Switch"
