it's time to sell the PS5. switch 2 szn
yeah I’m parting with my OLED and Series X to fund my Switch 2
Surprise how much they showed what I think was Yoshis Crafted World in the direct today. You think that’s getting an update too? Lol
Them white banners at the bottom are a no purchase for me. Basically the Switch 1 blue banner
And isn’t it weird that Bravely Default has fully on cart on Switch 1 but needs a download on Switch 2? Lmao
So MKW is $80 physical? Anyone have a confirmation? Haven’t looked through this thread yet but I’m pretty sure this guy is reliable

https://twitter.com/modernvintageg/status/1907553969641238904Somebody pointed it out. And i don't fully agree with it.
But i think the logic behind the pricing is that, games with additional content in the Switch 2 version cost more.
Games that have a visual upgrade and nothing else are getting free updates.
I believe Nintendo's logic is because the Kirby and the Forgotten Land(for exp) has additional story content, they're basically going "Base game + DLC pricing"
I don't fully agree with it, because even though the logic makes since, there's no reason 8 year old games like BOTW should still be $60
If the game is fully on cart, I’ll def support it on day 1
Pixel Counts per Digital Foundry:
MK World 1440P 60fps
DK 1080P 60fps
BOTW and TOTK 1440 at 60fps
ER 1080P 30fps
Cyberpunk 540P to 1080P 30fps (but it looks clean unlike PS4/XONE version)
Tony Hawk 4k60fps
Final Fantasy 1080P 30fps (looks clean but it has poor framepacing, which was fixed in the ps5 port but was present in the footage)
Duskbloods 1080P 30fps
No DLSS
On one end i get the complaints. but on the other end, i don't really care much about them.
i'm not talking about ppl ITT. just online complaints. havent read through the thread
PlayAsia talking that s***, love to see it

Fans faced a bit of sticker shock today when Nintendo revealed the Switch 2 would cost $450, especially with some new physical games set to cost as much as $90. But the price of upgrading to the Mario maker's next console generation is set to get even worse after President Donald Trump announced a new wave of shockingly high tariffs that could push the price of a Switch 2 in the U.S. to over $600. The Trump administration revealed a new 10 percent across-the-board tariff for all foreign imports as well as a bevy of "reciprocal" tariffs aimed at individual countries the president claims are unfairly undercutting the U.S. when it comes to trade. Those include tariffs of 34 percent on China and up to 46 percent on Vietnam, where much of the manufacturing for the Switch 2 takes place. Cambodia, another country Nintendo sources from, would face a 49 percent tariff. The new tax hikes are set to go into effect on April 5.
Tariffs are taxes charged on products when they enter the country. Most companies choose to pass on much or all of the tax in the form of price hikes that then show up on the shelves at stores like Best Buy, Walmart, and Target. Many of the original Switch consoles were manufactured in China, but Nintendo began sourcing from countries like Vietnam and elsewhere after trade war threats during Trump's first term, seemingly to avoid precisely this scenario.

it’s kinda crazy how most of the upcoming titles are actually long awaited titles, like 10+ years at least. Metroid prime 4, a 3d donkey Kong, Kirby air ride 2, bloodborne spiritual sequel, new rhythm heaven, new professor Layton, tomadochi life 2, a new Mario kart that’s not a remaster, etc
Signed up to 4 places for pre order so fingers crossed
