Somebody pointed it out. And i don't fully agree with it.

But i think the logic behind the pricing is that, games with additional content in the Switch 2 version cost more.
Games that have a visual upgrade and nothing else are getting free updates.
I believe Nintendo's logic is because the Kirby and the Forgotten Land(for exp) has additional story content, they're basically going "Base game + DLC pricing"

I don't fully agree with it, because even though the logic makes since, there's no reason 8 year old games like BOTW should still be $60

On one end i get the complaints. but on the other end, i don't really care much about them.

• Mario Kart being $80 sucks... but at the same time... i'll just buy the bundle and get it for $50
• Don't get the complaint about the the new chat functionality. Like... sure... its stupid that they're adding something PS and XBOX did ages ago.. But did yall just not want it to ever be added?. what are they gonna do? go back in time an add it 12 years ago?
• Ppl complaining just gonna buy anyway when a new 3D Mario, Smash, and Zelda are announced.

But the price of upgrading to the Mario maker's next console generation is set to get even worse after President Donald Trump announced a new wave of shockingly high tariffs that could push the price of a Switch 2 in the U.S. to over $600. The Trump administration revealed a new 10 percent across-the-board tariff for all foreign imports as well as a bevy of "reciprocal" tariffs aimed at individual countries the president claims are unfairly undercutting the U.S. when it comes to trade. Those include tariffs of 34 percent on China and up to 46 percent on Vietnam, where much of the manufacturing for the Switch 2 takes place. Cambodia, another country Nintendo sources from, would face a 49 percent tariff. The new tax hikes are set to go into effect on April 5.

Feels amazing, surreal even

it’s kinda crazy how most of the upcoming titles are actually long awaited titles, like 10+ years at least. Metroid prime 4, a 3d donkey Kong, Kirby air ride 2, bloodborne spiritual sequel, new rhythm heaven, new professor Layton, tomadochi life 2, a new Mario kart that’s not a remaster, etc
