I have my expectations from Nintendo low. Ion know how some people are expecting/hoping to see Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, or a New Switch reveal.

I'm expecting to see more Mario Golf, possibly some Pokemon Arceus or at least more Gen 4 remake info, and maybe something Shin Megami Tensei V related since that's a Switch exclusive and is supposedly still coming out this year.

People expecting metroid prime 4 are delusional since it restarted development in 2019 and all the pandemic thing going on, and people expecting switch pro cant read. Botw2 is likely imo, since aonuma said in february he would have something to share later in the year and E3 seems the best stage for a game of that caliber

You don't think well at least get a decent reveal at the end of the presentation?

Maybe a Smash related surprise DLC character announcement, but other than that no, I don't.

I'm giving most posters the benefit of the doubt and assuming they're joking. Doesn't make it hurt any less that Nintendo doesn't give a s*** about some of its best IPs.

I think it remains to be seen. Metroid despite never being a huge seller still gets its chances, pikmin is going to get a mobile app which means its likely we're getting pikmin 4, there are the donkey kong rumors, warioware, and i think we'll get another star fox eventually, since miyamoto loves that series and miyamoto probably still has some level of impact on decision making at nintendo. The thing is that they have so many great IPs that some are inevitably gonna be left out and yeah i feel for fans of those series. I for example have wanted a new kid icarus game or at least a remaster of the 3ds kid icarus since the switch came out but alas the series is probably done lol

That Kid Icarus game was incredible. Yeah I understand how the vast amount of incredible game franchises belonging to Nintendo can cause disappointment due to prioritization in favor of more profitable IPs. Imagine a modern F-Zero or Mother 3 localization.

I think mother 3 hasnt been localized to avoid outrage cause it tackles some sensitive topics. And thinking about a modern take on f-zero depresses me, that's one series that imo now would be way more popular than back in the day, especially with online tournaments and such. They could make f-zero the more technical less casual racing game and keep mario kart the casual racing game

Exactly! F-Zero would be extremely profitable for Nintendo, especially since they would create a mobile game as well to recoup and increase their profit margin. I still was able to play the Mother 3 fan translation & It's so sad to know that a wider audience won't get to experience one of the best JRPGs ever made.
