nintendo kinda genius with the 450/500 pricing because personally i'd go for the 450 but the fact that the 500 bundle includes an $80 game means the console is $420 in that instance and it tricks me into thinking im saving money lol, its an effective price ladder technique tbh

Yeah I can't remember what I payed for my Odyssey bundled Switch but for the amount of enjoyment I got I'm positive it was worth it. None of these games are a sure thing.

Yeah imma wait because...

1. I wanna see how many of the 1st/2nd party Nintendo Switch exclusives the Nintendo Switch 2 can play.
2. They'll probably later on improve the battery life.
3. It'll get an OLED version of it in the next 2-4 years hopefully.
4. Both the Nintendo Switch 2, the Pro controller and the extra memory sticks do need to go down in price as it's overpriced and not worth that price as it's not very advanced like even the PS5 OG.
5. It has some issues at launch probably and I want to see how much of an issue the stick drift thing is at the moment.
6. And well I wanna know if I need to buy the Nintendo Switch OLED or will the Nintendo Switch 2 be more than enough and can play all of the Nintendo Switch games and maybe improve their graphics and FPS plus will the support for enhanced games be good or is it only very few games that will get that benefit.

Anyway @op let me know what's up so I can decide when I think it might be a good idea to get a Nintendo Switch 2!

i think i'll get a Switch 2 at the earliest once the new Xeno game comes out

was kinda planning on doing so even before the Direct and it didn't change my mind whatsoever lmao

still got literal hundreds of games to play on my switch and other consoles

also Mario Kart World isn't nearly as convincing as BOTW was when the Switch came out (i didn't own a wii u)
the tracks look very uneventful from what they've been showing in the Treehouse

I don't think you guys realize, an OLED 1080p VRR 120hz screen is going to be INSANELY expensive

In light of the fact that everybody in every Nintendo-related comment section is yelling DROP THE PRICES it would be a freaking disaster if they did the complete opposite and INCREASED the prices. I can't even imagine how badly that would affect sales and the customers relations.

You're in for a rude awakening. The steam deck OLED is $550 it's a smaller display, 800p, 90hz, no VRR.

Compare that to what a switch 2 oled would have to have, a bigger display, 1080p, 120hz, VRR, and oled? The price will be 600 at least
