Not all games can be played through GameShare. Just a select few to begin with. More will be supported in time but I don’t think it’s meant to be expected in all multiplayer games.

Can you do it with the current Switch?

If you have a Switch 2 and your nephew has a Switch 1 then you guys can play the supported games together BUT it is only your Switch 2 system that has the ability to share a game that you own with another Switch system (whether it’s a Switch 1 or Switch 2). In other words you can share a game from a Switch 2 to a Switch 1, but not from a Switch 1 to another Switch.
