If they do it, I think it’ll be like a late cycle ultra premium offering, not something that’s a few years away, sorry fam.

I have a very strong feeling about a pro model or a docked-only model that has more power, in order to maintain 3rd party support late into the ns2 lifecycle.

Pivoting to oled made so much sense for ns1 because the og screen was ugly. This time around, ns2 miniled screen looks incredible. They’re positioned differently, not sure what they’ll do, but power seems like their next focus.

A cheaper offering that can’t dock doesn’t seem likely, because they already have ns1 to fill that lower price tier. The switch lite in 2019 was because they needed a switch family, now they have it already. Lite doesn’t make sense either so pro it is. just my two cents.

Wait what’s wrong with it?

When i booted my seconday switch it forced update on me to play online, which then forces virtual game cards on me, which then forces me to turn on and update primary switch, then i needed to link systems. Was just frustrating first experience. And ofc they dont tell you about online licenses option and bury it deep within system settings. So like after all that it just felt like they removed my ability to have two switches and digital games conveinently. If you use virtual cards on primary switch and online licenses for secondary switches its basically the old policy still so its whatever. Just nintendo designing syatem ux in their classic terrible way.

I know Mario Kart is gonna be my GOTY. People think that this base game is gonna be it. The amount of DLC this game will probably have I just can't even think right now.

i'm a kart stan and i'll enjoy MKW for the racing and online play and everything.

but i'm not sold that the open world mission part will be great. i mean this is nintendo's flagship so i expect they'll make it good but this has shades of Mario Golf Super Rush when they made "speed golf" to switch up the format and that part of the game was vastly inferior to the traditional game format
