Slowly hyped again about Mario Kart World
It feels like there's a big secret they're not saying about this game
I'm very doubtful that they would be hiding something major about the game. They would've revealed it by now or in the Mario Kart Direct last month to silence the haters complaining about the game's price. What we've seen so far is probably what we get until they announce future updates or DLC.

I’m personally not invested in Mario kart, it’s just not for me but I can see their logic and I think they should be hyped.
Nintendo has in the past hidden big things about games like tears of the kingdom, for example, even though they had a deep dive direct where Aonuma showed off a lot. Also, the game was $70 which was a price hike so they could’ve made the game seem even grander if they wanted to sell it better, but they didn’t.

It is possible of course, but personally I’m not expecting any major hidden features to be in the game at launch.
ngl i do realize that 1 guy that got the switch 2 early asf but the fact that he cant do anything with it until launch day is really wack
they can just brick your s*** at any point
?
Staples (the office product store) is gonna be selling Switch 2s on release, probably gonna be less packed than Target or Gamestop

Yeah that’s wild I would not ever had thought of going to staples to buy a switch 2, that could be the play.
It's insane to me watching Cyberpunk footage that this is coming from a console that runs at like what, 10w?
This thing is so impressive

Second sentence is crazy out of context
Imagine buying a whole console for one game
more games will be released in the future
idk if i commented on it when it was revealed, but elden ring on switch 2 is a likely cop for me. i'm very glad thats coming to NS2 and it will fill in the gap between mainline zelda games

Tbf, what more can this game do lol. Fully open world, 31 interconnected tracks, 5 modes, single player missions, a lot of new gameplay changes to the diving. I get it's 80$/90€ but its a lot more ambitious than i think anyone itt expected

Oh I didn’t know about that*, I may finally get Elden ring now lol
*now I remember, took me a sec to jog my memory lol

To be fair, a lot of people do this. Such games are called “system sellers”
Now whether a “system seller” is worth it for you are not is subjective, but people definitely do this lol
I almost bought a ps5 just for astrobot, but decided against it

This. I bought the original Switch at launch just to play Breath of the Wild. I did buy and enjoy many other games on the console of course, but even before those games were announced, I was already sold on Breath of the Wild and I would even have bought a Wii U just to play this one game.
There’s usually one major game that sells me on a system. There’s always that one banger I just have to experience that becomes the main object that I need in my possession. The system itself is just a means to an end.
Imagine buying a whole console for one game
That used to be extremely normal
I knew so many dudes who bought an Xbox just for Halo
Imagine buying a whole console for one game
Millions over millions over millions of people will do that for MK World and GTA VI lol this is pretty normal
