The motion controls for skyward sword are awful in some points, like the bomb rolling and trying to curve it left or right to hit the fire-breathing fish monsters. I basically only roll it straight because it’s a headache to try otherwise haha

Thank f***ing god Nintendo has mostly moved on from motion controls

I loved the motion controls back when I played this on the Wii, but 10 years later on the Switch I’m a bit put off by it. Crazy how things change.

Anyone got thoughts on SS? haven't picked it up yet, been replaying BOTW so I'm kinda worried it's gonna feel too old school in comparison. But I am running out of things to do in BOTW (well, not really, but I've got about 150 hours in game, most from over a year ago). It's between SS and Bayonetta 2 lol

im enjoying it a lot but the motion controls aren’t great. if you choose button controls it takes a while to get used to because they made some weird sacrifices, like you cannot control the camera unless you hold L. it’s kinda uncomfortable. looks amazing in hd. definitely holds up.

They need to fix joycons fr, it’s one of the worst things about the Switch, i might get a pro controller but idk if that’s of the same quality or not

The pro controller is a really good controller, when it works. I’m on my third one now because of drift issues.

Pro controller is well worth it. I barely use my joycons unless in handheld mode
