Whats the verdict on switch 2, how yall liking it? Lowkey wanna get one when they restock. But can I transfer totk save file from switch to switch 2?

It's a great system but definitely needs time to grow the library

I like the hardware but it's lacking new games right now, but that's natural this early into a launch. In time there'll be plenty of new announcements.

its great but as someone who plays exclusively docked, the upgrades to the handheld screen and whatnot are not impactful to me. so for me it is really just:

a new mario kart game which is very fun

improvements to my switch 1 catalog meaning everything looks nicer and runs better. most notably the Zelda updates which have a "switch 2 version" that i get for free via the expansion pack, but even the games that only got free updates (mario odyssey, etc) seemingly look better and run faster

Just found out my coworker has never seen a Switch in their entire life until today.

She keeps calling consoles “game boxes” and says not a single person in her life games outside of coworkers.

Which I’m amazed how you go 8 years without seeing a Switch unless you literally never go online.

Up until very recently my dad called all consoles "gameboy"

I really love it and don't mind there not being a ton of new games. The pokemon update made SV masterpieces, I have plenty of switch 1 games to play, and Mario kart is keeping a lot of my attention anyways or I'm playing stardew with my wife like usual but with a nicer controller

I'm ready for the new tony hawk next month but I got plenty to play, and there's discounted games on the estore I'm thinking of getting too

the joycons and ergonomics of the console feels 10x better than the OG switch that i actually play on handheld mode more than docked mode. also to answer your question yeah you can transfer your totk data over

I barely even played Mario kart on this I been running through a bunch of games I always felt would be great on handheld that I never played. Just started hollow knight and I’m revisiting slay the spire

Especially if you play it on Switch 2 version where it’s not laggy and buggy

Basically SwSh are the worst mainline Pokémon games by far so if you enjoyed that game you will love ScVi

I have been so close to trying a persona for so damn long but won't I miss a bunch jumping into 5?

I have too many games to play right now I feel like lol. I just got crossy tower, have been putting some solid hours into Mario party which I just got, I want to get better at smash, I apparently own deltarune but never played it, tony hawk comes out soon and I keep going back to my new/first scarlet save (have finished violet but these are whole new games with the update basically). But if persona 5 is really that convincing I might go for it
