manhunt (at least where i lived) was like hide and seek and tag
two teams. one team searched, one team hid, and if someone on the searching team found you, they would chase you and you would have to try and get away from them and reach home base before they could tag you
oh word
similar concept we was just hooligans I guess lmfaoooo

We used to play capture the flag in the night time
like 20 some kids and 2 teams in the darkness was amazing.
Snowball fights in the winter
Kickball and dodgeball in the spring
Football and basketball in the summer and fall
Kids these day really have a boring life

I try not to be one of those grumpy boomers yelling about phones but I am so so so glad to be born when I was and that I did most of my adolescent maturing without a smartphone.

I can go to any neighborhood within 30 mins of my house and I wouldn’t see any kids on bikes or just sitting outside hanging out.
pre COVID obviously
10,000% grateful for the time we grew up

Seriously man so grateful for it. Getting up to no good was the move every single day! I remember one summer we must have been like 12 or something but we drew our own maps of our neighborhood and explored the sewers and all kinds of wild s*** lmfaooooo those were the days

Mannnn I could type for hours of all the stuff we did as kids. Even the girls in my neighborhood were cool af and down to play certain sports and explore the woods near our houses and stuff.
When it would snow and we would have the day off, everyone would end up at the pond and we would go sledding and play football and other s***.
S***ttt I remember we used to play football every year the day before thanksgiving to determine who would get the “gobbler” award. Lmao we would play for hours and vote to see who had the best game. My boy used to have a notebook on who won every year
