well the time is almost here…… 30 in a few weeks

i don’t even know what to do to celebrate. usually me and my girl go somewhere for the weekend but i wanted to do something bigger for this one

but my friends all have kids and s*** and are all mad tired all the time. and also we hardly talk anymore because i don’t even live in the area and we all have our own lives and s***

so it will probably just be me and my girlfriend

soon enough lol. hopefully within this year

the problem is i have mad anxiety about the wedding, she has been able to retain more friends than me.

i used to have too many friends now i have a solid two, maybe three actual close ones lol

And if there’s people you miss, definitely reconnect with them and another thing is you’ll meet more people down the line and become friends w them.

I personally don’t think 30 is old, Rihanna and Rocky are considered a “young” couple too...so I just feel we put too much pressure on ourselves and overthink when it’s just another year of being beautiful and thankful and enjoying everything and everyone you have

Hey man, I hope all has been well. I am super glad I came across your post, cause I’ll be turning 30 right with you this year.

I felt this so much. And I totally get how you miss the old times when it was just you & the boys, no plus ones, & everyone could just pull up whenever.

But man, that’s life. You learn to be more independent & self reliant without your friends though, so I’d like to think there’s value in it.

I, also, like to think about all the things I have gained since getting older (career apartment city living etc) , and that helps me cope better with aging.

Turning 30 is f***ing crazy to me too though man, seriously. It’s crazy to think we graduated hs 10 years ago LMAO

But with that, my main goal is to just never turn into a corporate a****** crabby old man. As long as I can keep my spirit & heart alive, I’ll forever be “young at heart.” & if I can do that, I’m good with aging

But yeah man, hang in there & I wish you the happiest & safest of birthdays!!!! Love you bro!!!!
