This is more like how Intel CPU's should be like as their previous stuff lacked some or many things that used to make them the #1 CPU maker in the past and then came AMD and overtook it but Intel is so far heading in the right direction for sure if they keep doing the right thing

yeah if we get those Chiplet based GPUs and they get better over the next few years I definitely think we could use PCIe6

hmm maybe Sony is reentering the PC market but TSMC makes the Playstation they could just be preparing for more manufacturing for the consoles or processers for their TVs/Cameras would be interesting if they made GPUs tho

edit: yeah looks like it will be older 28nm chips for Cameras, Appliances and Cars nothing high performance

Well with them releasing their games on PC too now and it been a day 1 thing either this genration or the next one so do I see them doing something PC hardware related in the next let's say 5-10 or 10-15 years for sure. If they do it the right way so could it be profitable for them and they won't have to exit the PC market again.

Plus they're not fully out of the PC market though as they do still own the VAIO trademark and they're now putting games on PC too and I woundn't be surprised if they made Steam/Epic Games Store the main place to release their games on PC or made their own PC games store and either stopped releasing games on Steam etc. or still did it there but gave those who do use their store some benefits like owning the same game on PC/PS6 and having the extra DLC etc. if it's bought from there plus the merging of both stores.

Also so will they finally give us the ability to finally upgrade the PlayStation hardware... Or release a different kind of PlayStation that's like PC. I mean if Sony is smart so wouldn't that be the wrong move to make. I wouldn't mind it and it would make sense and not make those who own a PlayStation console start from 0 plus they would profit from it.

yeah they definitely wanna put out Games on PC but it seems like they're out of the hardware business for PCs could always change tho yeah they've dabbled before

I think they'll probably make a new console every 3 years still upgrades seem like they would be complex but it could be cool to upgrade the GPU

seems like Sony model is to make money on Games and accessories and things, yeah they could make a shift someday though they do make some of the best screens, cameras and stuff would make sense but as of right now seems like they aren't focused on hardware outside of that stuff right now

It seems to me that Sony got their eye on Corsair/ElGato and kinda AMD so if they would ever come back to the PC market so can I see them working with them and maybe even at least acquiring Corsair/ElGato. I mean I think it's about time that they did it. But for now so is them putting their games on PC a good start... Which man I never imagined myself saying that. But I'm glad that they did it so the games can reach their full potential and so that the biased/fanboy part of me could finally go away and so I could return to the old me that played on all of the platforms and enjoyed been a gamer and not just one that games on 1 platform only or if not just 1 then 2 platforms max. But again I hope that Sony re-enters the PC market after them putting their games on PC and it been a successful move hopefully

And yes I hope that means a PC-like PlayStation console (Or well a gaming hardware thing since it won't be a console after all of the custom parts, case and other PC-like parts and therefore should be called a Sony or PlayStation PC or something) someday or at least an upgrade to the PS5, PS6 etc. every 2 years and not 3-4 years as technology evolves fast these days and therefore so would it make sense for them to do that and offer 2-3 different versions of a console just like it's done with PC's and smartphones

9900k is still really good. Its what I have. I do plan on upgrading to whatever Intel or AMD has next though.

the new consoles I feel get more upgrades not cause technology is moving faster but more cause they're PCs now, so it's easier to put out upgraded consoles

also the GPU is built onto the CPU I don't know how you'd even upgrade so they'd have to change the console design, they definitely could do it with AMD and/or TSMC though

Yeah they'll have to either start making PC parts, make 2 versions of their PlayStation gaming systems so it's one that's a console and one that you can pick all of the parts whether it's like PC where it's a full PC part like a GPU, CPU or an APU that they do release a better version of every year and that's one of the ways it can be upgraded for example besides the other parts like the ports and what kind of NVME M.2 SSD can be used. But well dunno when that day will come so until then so is it PS5 then PS5 Pro and PS6 then PS6 Pro and if people want something even better so is there always laptop and desktop PC's

yeah true I feel like you could wait forever for the latest part though, always some new spec coming in a year or two but yeah next year seems like a good time when we get the new GPUs

That's true... But what I am saying is that building a PC around the time when the latest and greatest from Nvidia/Intel etc. is out around Q3-Q4 2022 would be the right time to it. So for me so would it be a good time to get it when these following things are out...

• RTX 4090
• Intel i9 13900K
• Better DDR5 RAM (Compared to the one coming this year or early 2022)
• New motherboards like Asus Z790 or at least a better version of the Z690 (DDR5) one
• Faster NVME M.2 SSD's
• Newer and better PC cases with more USB C ports, HDMI 2.1 ports (Or something newer if it's out in 2022) and what else is needed
• Newer and better PSU's
• Newer and better version of Bluetooth
• Newer and better version of Wi-Fi
• More LAN ports and better support for CAT8 or something better... Maybe CAT9 if it's out in 2022.
  And well what else I am missing in my list of course

Oh and some more DDR5 news plus Nvidia GPU's stuff...

Yeah I'll for sure be waiting for those benchmarks and see who will be making the best DDR5 RAMs... Which I think will be Samsung and Corsair and maybe some of the other brands that people get usually too. Anyway... I can't wait to get all of those parts and finally build my first ever custom PC
