An impeachment trial without evidence is not a trial, but a mere cover up instead.

Just interesting to see a historic event play out like this twice in my lifetime. Seeing a Supreme Court Justice, House leaders, Senators and White House counsel all in one room other than the SOTU.

Day 2 just ended. The House managers brought some amazing evidence to the table, why they need those missing pieces and just how obvious the cover up is if the White House and Senate are not releasing those documents. I didn't get what the big deal was at first. I knew the main points, but not the details and they really came through with a proper chronology of how all the pieces are related. I tuned into this expecting BS but this was pure facts.

I feel bad for anyone who missed today because I would hate to be the one sitting through these 2 hours again or read the hundreds of pages to know what's going on. Tomorrow they will make a case for which laws allow them to pursue impeachment and trial and which laws Trump violated. s/o to Pelosi, s/o to Adam Schiff. Two Californians trying to take our country back using facts. No matter what the outcome will be, we'll know where we stood on this.

our entire political system has always been a fragile joke at the federal level, even when FDR enacted the new deal the opposition screamed about "fascism" and destruction of government norms. this is not a defense of republicans or trump but a criticism of our style of government. even though we have "rules" in place time and time again these have shown to be arbitrary by loophole after loophole, or just willful ignorance.

I mean I didn't have any grasp of the details, I was in elementary. My parents have always been very political and tuning into CNN every day which felt so annoying when I was little. But it was everywhere on TV anyway. All I knew back then was that he did something with Monica Lewinsky (nobody would tell me lmao) and they were punishing him.

Imagine impeaching a president without evidence in the first place 😂

This is the case the House handed. Why is it the Senate’s responsibility to do what was supposed to be their job?

Bruh the fact that Trump got impeached for no other reason than being the Democrat’s worst enemy should already be telling of how our government officials are prioritizing their personal issues in comparison to ours.

    semantics, same thing

and u can read the articles and the charges lol. like, you're implying that they made s*** up, but they did their job and conducted an inquiry. it's the senate's job to figure out if the evidence is their convict. but by refusing to call witnesses, be impartial, or have any sort of respect for it at all, that's not going to happen. idc either way because this is how any rational human being knew it was gonna happen but they are making a mockery of it plain and simple.

I missed Day 1. Day 2 they talked about What happened and Who was involved
Day 3 (yesterday) they talked about Why they did it and why it's illegal under the constitution.
    Day 4? Don't know yet

Call your US Senator if you want all of the evidence to be released by the White House.
