Sade (pronounced “shah-day”) is a Grammy Award-winning English band formed in London in 1982. The group is named after lead singer Sade Adu, who is also a songwriter and producer for the group, which also includes Stuart Matthewman, Paul S. Denman, and Andrew Hale as the multi-instrumentalist backing band.
