I always thought Djibouti & Somaliland were a part of Somalia??? My pops told me that growing up?

I cant speak on Djibouti’s history, but Somaliland hasn’t been a part of Somalia since May 18, 1991 as a result of the conflicts between the North and Siad Barred South.

how you guys feel about religion vs culture?

They both heavily influence eachother but imo aren’t bound by each other. I can appreciate the culture while having a separate relationship with the religion that comes with that culture
