Finally sucked it up and traded in my Play:1 for a One SL

Able to create a stereo pair and add it to my Beam in my living room

Hopefully will be able to cop the Sub Mini before the end of the year

This sonos sub is a game changer in the living room

sonos one and sub mini not having bluetooth is such a dealbreaker to me. do they still work if u dont have wifi for whatever reason?

No I elieve not, even the airplay would stop working because it requires internet I think

after some further research i found the only 2 sonos speakers with airplay and bluetooth. the sonos roam and sonos move. i ordered the sonos roam a few days ago to compliment my harman kardon citation home theater

Ya those came out last year, let me know how it is, I don’t think I have a use for those Sonos products but good to know for future

i just take the roam with me to the kitchen and bathroom. dont wanna lose the audio im listening to in the living room so its all paired via airplay

FYI if you wanted to return and wait theres two new speakers leaked to be coming out (Era 100 and Era 300) by the end of March with Bluetooth and Line-in. Will be more expensive but might be better for your situation

Man I used to be so heavily invested in Sonos and such a geek of their products. I remember how much everyone was asking for upfiring speakers. Glad to see they came.

Wish I had the two era 300s for my surround sound rather than the ones , still sounds phenomenal though

They really have me debating on splurging and swapping out my Ones man

part of my justification is that the ones can easily be resold or moved around the house. And it's tax refund/bonus season too...

That’s what I was thinking, I have the official Sonos stands for the ones though and I don’t want to buy new stands again, it’s the perfect height for the surround sound

yea I have the officials too. I think you can get $150 back on those depending on the condition so that would lessen the hit of the new stands. I see myself eventually making the swap but I'll wait for a bit and gauge more longer term feedback on these
