Can you still buy games that you got with ps+?

I’m thinking it might be best to not get ff7r free since you cant upgrade to the ps5 version. Ff7r ps4 version always on sale too

For anyone that has played ff7r before and has a ps5 dont get that s*** from ps+ since you cant upgrade it and you will instead have to go and buy ff7 intergrade (ps5 version) which they are charging full price for. Can buy the ps4 version instead since its always on sale and upgrade that for free

what do you mean? i own the physical copy but added the ps+ one to my library as well just because. will i be able to upgrade my physical copy for free?

You are safe if you have physical and downloaded the ps+ version, for that you can just put the disc in, and they will let you install a digital ps5 version of the game you can play as long as you have the disc in (this is how it worked with nioh 2)

I got Ratchet & Clank from PS Plus back in 2018 and they made Ratchet & Clank free 4 days ago to keep forever and it let me add that one to my library.

I think it just depends on Sony

Ratchet & Clank a special case tho since thats part of the play at home thing, otherwise you wouldn't even be given an option to buy the game.

Checked a few ps+ games I have and I can't buy them unless I buy an "Ultimate" edition of game or something, definitely not depending on ff7r being different

Anyone else PSN basically down? When I go to the store it says it's going through maintenance and I tested my connection and my internet is fine but the PSN sign in "failed"
