Nioh 2 is before Nioh and its just a C***but you do see the protagonist of Nioh in nioh 2.
story is not really anything tied to the previous game, and many fans of both will suggest nioh 2 due to the added combat mechanics.

just play nioh 2.
I will say however that there are more weapons in nioh 1 and more human bosses.

after you finish your first playthrough, just find a build to rush through ng++++ im on ng+++ right now i just have one more run to go till I can just farm and make builds

Loved this classic as a kid and am currently downloading it and had to see if anyone else knows about this game

wonder what this means for evo (and future fighting games, is sony gonna try and angle the ps5 towards the fighting scene and try and market it as the best platform to play fighting games )
