I gave up on Demon's Souls I just can't.

I got through the Tower Knight without dying but every other area is kicking my ass and I can't stand how dying puts you in soul form at the beginning of the area again. It's not even the difficulty of the enemies or bosses that's so frustrating it's the soul form and world tendency mechanic that drives me up the wall

You're supposed to stay in soul form when you playing the game so dont worry about it. Actually when you kill a boss you should kill yourself in the nexus so you can play through areas in soul form without f***ing up your world tendency

why am I not able to even make it to another boss though, do I need to farm souls to level up or what because going through the same areas over and over just to die and lose all my souls constantly is maddening

I probably just need to git gud but the lack of any save points or anything is just so discouraging I haven't been able to play more than like an hour and a half without quitting since I beat the tower knight and I've made no progress at all through the game

Think the frustration probably getting to you, just relax and take it slow in new areas.

There are maybe 3 bosses that are actually hard in this game? Most of the actual difficulty comes from the areas and the way enemies are positioned, if you take it slow you can get past those areas tho. Also if you are fighting a boss and die just run past everything and get to the boss

i bought days gone day 1 it came out, game was fantastic

it was a little buggy, but some people had different experiences and didnt run into many bugs. i got lucky on my playthrough. the frame rate was crap in some parts of the map, thats about it.

the sequel was one of my most anticipated games on ps5. damn shame
