horizon
graphics: 10/10
gameplay: 8/10
story: 5/10
imo
still excited for the next one though, I think they just need to focus on the story
lore is 10/10 tho
game is like a 7 for me, ps fans hype that s*** up though idk why
only good thing about horizon was graphics, even then they weren't anything crazy imo
I can’t put a finger on it tbh
I’m not a fan boy or anything and i’ve always owned multiple consoles but my main console has always been a sony console. My fav console of all time is the PS2
I love the type of games they had on there, especially the japanese one. Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Persona, SMT, FF, Okami, Silent Hill, Suikoden, Ape Escape, ICO, Shadow Of The Colossus, Kingdom Hearts, Tekken, Onimusha etc ( you get the point )
Now that Sony has decided to kill Japan studio, and stop focusing on their japanese audience i feel like that era of games is never going to come back.
I also don’t think the PS5 is a big enough upgrade imo, tried a couple of my PS4 games on there, and while they do play a bit better, it’s not enough to warrant a $500-600 price tag imo. If you’ve owned the ps4 pro you’re really not missing out by not owning a PS5. I thought i might not be feeling the 5 because i’m only playing ps4 games on it, so i bought DMC 5 SE, i had been looking forward to it and decided to get that, start that b**** up and it just looks like DMC 5 man.
Feel like all this 60 fps 120 fps 4k stuff is all meaningless in the end, sure it’s cool for a couple of days but eventually that becomes the standard and it’s no longer as shiny and new to you. I just want lit experiences not more pixels and frames.
I think i might be falling out of love with video games so that might be a factor too
they focus more on 60 fps and 4k resolution instead of just making sure these games are timeless story and gameplay wise.
As long as the graphics are solid at the standard, imo 1080p 60fps, then make sure you release a good game THEN try and get better fps and res. There's so many classics from the first 3 systems that could wash a lot of the good games from ps3/4 era
s*** even games like vice city and san andreas wash gta v and they still look like some polygons lol
Currently playing through Mass Effect trilogy for 1st time
Intergrade in 5 days
Ratchet and Clank in 6 days
Kena in August
Deathloop in September
Ghostwire: Tokyo hopefully still coming in October
I'd say my first year on PS5 has been pretty great and there is still a lot to anticipate before the year ends
A lot to be excited for fam
first year has been much better compared to PS4.
I can't lie i hate that there aren't that many big/interesting games out for ps5, but i'll take it over just having the latest cod and sports games
insomniac going crazy on twitter rn with these sunset overdrive teases, probably just s***posting but a port/remaster for ps4/ps5 would be super rad
edit: it was teasing a weapon lmao
If you preordered the colored controllers did it charge you today ? Tryna figure out how Sony took $79.00 today

Exactly, i was hoping games would be more different from a gameplay/design perspective
Like the jump from PS1 to PS2 was huge not in just graphics but how games played
I feel like it’s getting harder and harder to innovate and i can’t blame em think VR is next up and where all games will eventually go
what games u got?
a lot,
what games do u play
I got cod and 2k as like basic multiplayer but idk I’m game for whatever you got, I prolly got it too
That $70 price tag for games now just not giving…. I’m so hesitant to buy anything at this point like that’s so much for a game.

It’s $90-100 in some places, so f***ing ridiculous

just have to make a list of games you would like to buy day one.
rn sony exclusives are really my only day one purchases
after FC6 I'm not really looking out for anymore ubisoft games.
I don't like WW2 eras so the new COD is a skip
other than that i can wait for sales on digital deluxe games to drop to $40
I'm still on the fence about Guilty Gear/Bad Blood/Deathloop/Nocturne.
I still got a huge backlog. *aint finished Yakuza 7 or Ghost of Tsushima. aint even finish KH3 or the witcher 3 or persona royal
so for me I need to stop buying games and finish the ones i have
okay just got back from urgent care i’m fit to play whenever just message me on ps bro
