GotDC, deathloop, re8 all on heavy rotation and all worth playing so that’s a tough choice
In terms of story I’d rank them
1.ghost
2.deathloop
3.re8otherwise re8 is probably my fav of the 3

Loved some parts like the backstory, can’t specify which because of spoilers, but overall I have mixed feelings.
I’m curious to hear your thoughts after you beat it.
The sequel looks dope though, it seems they improved the gameplay overall so I’m excited to try it

Horizon is amazing. IMO you should collect all the pieces of lore in this game. Difficult to explain why without spoilers but the background narrative really adds to the game. And I never collect that s*** in other games

I usually collect everything in games as long as it’s not extremely wildly tedious or way too hard to do without using a guide, is it fairly reasonable?

It’s definitely pretty doable to see all the major pieces of lore. There’s some obscure stuff that’s probably less important. I love this game so much I wish I could play it again for the first time lol. Let me know what you think!
Also pro tip: the sling and tripcaster were a waste to me. It’s about play style but I found them fairly useless
