Excited to finally get some story games and not just hard mode and repetitive like souls and returnal.

Returnal was the best story of the last year and it wasn’t that hard either
This game is so much fun fr. Y’all should def give it a shot if you haven’t. I’d describe it as a combo between Destiny and Minecraft lmao. Tons of fun if you get a group going too.
Elden ring preordered. FF0 origins preordered. Gonna cop dying light 2 and thats it until next summer sale/Black Friday sale/winter sale.

anyone know any games with an emotional ass story or just a fire story in general? something to get me super sucked into the narrative. dont say TLOU1/2, GoW, RDR2, Nier, Detroit become human, Ghost of tsushima.

Returnal was my fav game of 2021 but the storytelling was pretty muddy and it was just short of Souls-level difficulty for me.

I guess it’s just about the player then, because souls is 3-4x harder for me.

Exactly.
I like playing Souls-games but, so far, Nioh 1 is the one I've been able to finish.
Returnal's 3rd boss made me put the game down for weeks but I was able to beat it shortly after it. The overall appeal of the game for me were the graphics and gameplay.

https://twitter.com/zuby_tech/status/1481641096971051017It's such a great game. I haven't had this much fun playing with friends since Destiny 2. Probably the best use of procedural level generation I've seen in a game too.

Personally I liked the way the story slowly rolled out with the finding of voice recordings, the first person segments where you learn about the little girl, and obviously the cinematic cutscenes which were pretty mindblowing. Especially the second, secret ending which really sold the game for me and kinda blew my mind more than any game that year
yall has anyone tried game sharing with friends through PSN accounts before?
Me and my wife do

idk about souls difficulty. seemed average level roguelike diff, like hades and deadcells

My friend wants to give me his games since he no longer plays on his PS4 and so I wanted to ask some questions since he’s not sure how it works and neither am I
Is PS Plus needed on any of the ps4s in order for him to give me the games?
Do I have to make a new user and login to my friend’s account through that user and set the PS4 to primary on that user or do I just login once using his PSN account on my regular user then relogin using mine?
Thanks in advance
