Oh wait I actually completely missed that. That being said that is only going to be a thing until this new Service actually gets released. From then on its still going to be $120 on PS+ Premium vs $60 or whatever xbox is charging + $1 for the upgrade. I'm not sure if the $1 cost is a one time use but I have heard that you can also just buy 1 month gamepass and it works the same way

The gamepass deal started about a year and a half ago and may end soon but yeah either way there’s gonna be ways to get deals on both

External is only to store PS5 games (They can't be played though) and PS4 games which can be played while the external HDD is plugged to your PS5.

Internal is so can play your PS4/PS5 and of course have your save files and other stuff like music, pictures, digital version of movies etc. on it which the external one can't do of course.

You got to have a heatsink so the internal SSD stays cool, working for a longer time and is generally speaking a good idea to add to your NVME M.2 SSD. You can either buy one with a heatsink if the money thing doesn't matter or buy a NVME M.2 SSD and a cheap heatsink which you've to add to your NVME M.2 SSD before installing it to your PS5.
