I’ve only owned Switch and Xbox for years, and I finally copped a PS5 (more than a week ago), mainly for FF7 Rebirth. That game is a system-seller to me, as you can see lol
I blame Smash for making me obsessed playing as Sephiroth

Spider-Man and Returnal are definitely the PS5 exclusives I wanna play but like I said, I’m not in a rush tbh

I think my issue is I’m a fan of old Sony. PS2 era specifically. They were so creative back then and nowadays, they’re making the same type of game with just different IP. And that gets boring after awhile, no matter how high quality the games are (and they are high quality).

Wish Sony would show love to their old IP.

its a marketing issue. its more of a directors cut / DLC yet people see the remaster title and are going crazy. Has all new cut levels, a new roguelike mode, all new characters to play as, directors commentary and more, while making it ps5 native + dualsense features all for $10

should have been marketed as a directors cut or like expanded or whatever subtitle you wanna add to it. not remastered.

It’s how PlayStation wants to let the casuals know that it’s an updated version of an already-released game, as they’ve done many times before.

“Director’s Cut” would’ve been a more accurate subtitle (like Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding), but they probably wanted to keep it in line with The Last of Us Remastered on PS4, just like the title of The Last of Us Part I (TLOU1 remake on PS5) did with its sequel.
