TLOU2 SWEEP

wait so it’s not free to play ? you have to have ps plus ?

None of the Helldivers 2 trailers have really sold me one it and I had lots of fun with the first.

Choosing between this and Prince Of Persia this week. POP will definitely be a more fun, lighter experience but, I've never played the TLOU2, and im pretty sure this remaster is gonna be a visual/audio showcase for PS5.
Everything about the TLOU2 just seems so heavy and dramatic for a video game though.

What I’d do is pick up a discounted copy of tlou2 wherever you can. Then upgrade to the remastered version for $10. Truely naughty dog’s magnum opus.

Not sure if ps5 got Ubisoft plus on it, but if it does can always subscribe to Ubisoft plus for a month and play POP that way. Game looks fantastic though, demo was fun af.

You can’t go wrong either choice. If you want a more light hearted fun experience def go pop.

But if going with tlou2 make sure you have played tlou1 first

I'll look into Ubisoft plus, but it seems to be Xbox/PC only for new games. I don't mind buying the new POP, I won't have to worry about a subscription. Haven't played TLOU1 so, I doubt I play TLOU2 now. Even if it was "new player accessible", good chance I still wouldn't cop, game just seemed like trauma p***.

Yeah not new player accessible at all. You need to play tlou1 to know the story and all the characters for the story to have any impact on ya.

Some do say it’s misery p*** but I personally don’t feel that way but it’s a common saying about it. Just depends how you personally feel about very heavy narratives. That said the gameplay of part 2 is fun as f***

But yeah I’d def go POP this month if you havnt played part 1 yet

Is it a hot take for naughty dog’s next game I kinda want them to target 30 fps to push the absolute max out of a ps5 to see what they can cook

We honestly aren’t getting a true next gen game until a developer does that.

Gotham Knights was ass & Starfield didn’t push any power

GTA 6 only title I think that is actually announced that will try that

TBH, motherfuckers act like their so sensitive to 30fps all of a sudden though. As long as its stable, I have no problem with 30fps

PC nerds act like it’ll kill them to play anything under 120fps. The entire 7th gen we had games barely running at a stable 720p 30, i’ll take 4k rock solid 30 with insane visuals any day.

I think the GAAS push by SIE is blowing up in their faces cus no one’s really interested in those, and the one GAAS that people were actually interested in got cancelled (TLOU Online).
I hope they stick the landing for the gameplay reveals of Fairgame$ and Concord cus boy, s***’s looking dire over at PS Studios.

the big SIE games probably will drop with the ps5 pro (Oct/nov I’d guess), so they’ll announce them around the time they show the new hardware off. hopefully soon? maybe they’re waiting for Nintendo or Xbox to announce or something lol, they’re all holding their cards close to their chest

Announcement and release in the same year for a PS Studios game would be unprecedented no?
Any new games announced this year probably won’t be ready till 2025 and beyond.

It could be a game or games that’s been announced in some capacity but they’re waiting to show it off/give it a release date so they can schedule it around the time of ps5 pro
