It's a lot of countries that don't have PSN, so they're effectively banned from playing Helldivers. Most of Africa doesn't have the ability to make a sony account, couple european countries, etc

And it's not like they needed to do this, they probably just wanna have the numbers to show off in a stock holder meeting

There are lots of people that have extra PSN accounts like for example, Turkish accounts for cheaper games, New Zealand accounts to get games a day early, and Japanese accounts for exclusive games. They've been letting all of that slide since PSN launched.

PC gamers continue to be insufferable man children. Just make a psn, throw it in the pile with your twitter, Fortnite, Microsoft, activision, ktt2, tiktok, etc accounts and stfu

If they had it like that from the start it wouldn't be an issue

But you can't implement it months later and piss all the folks off that live in countries where psn isn't available

You just hoed all them folks and I give em the weekened tops before they bend the knee on it

People that are living in countries without PSN can make a psn from any country that has it. I can make a french psn right now if I wanted. Before the game released there was a warning on the steam page that psn was required but temporarily disabled because of overloaded servers. PC gamers are being weirdos about this.

Ghost of Tsushima releases on PC soon and requires PSN. Are PC gamers gonna cry about that as well?

It's not needed is the main issue though. S*** was fine without the PSN account link in the first place, citing "security reasons" as the excuse when let's be real it's for the data and stats they can show at a stockholder meeting lol

And Sony has had awful security as numerous leaks over the years have shown

People are cool with if it's there from the jump, it's annoying to need to do with ubisoft, epic, etc. Trying to add it later is where they f***ed up tho

Sony needs some heat anyways, they been bullshitting too much this generation
