They should definitely port Infinite over, especially since it’s a live-service game.

Maybe the PS Showcase will be held in conjunction with the PS5 Pro reveal in September? Seems like this could be the move cus they need to show off upcoming software to push people to buy the Pro model

Maybe yes... I mean it would upset a lot of people if whatever is happening next week isn't good enough until the PS5 Showcase happens as it seems like that it got delayed until September-October 2024 instead of next week or some time in June 2024.

But yes it would make a lot of sense to have a very good showcase and then end it with a reveal of the PS5 Pro as I think Sony will reveal it soon if it's indeed launching in less than 6 months which should mean it's coming holiday 2024!

The fact that AAA games take 5-7 years now makes me less optimistic about the current status quo of gaming consoles.

I think the way consoles are set up is now an outdated concept. I’d like to see some innovation in the hardware, maybe like a console you can use and upgrade parts individually like a PC.

If we get a State of Play next week we HAVE to be getting some kind of Silent Hill 2 update, right?

It seems like it's coming this year as the leaked/rumored release date is October 8th 2024... But yes I think we'll get its official reveal hopefully at least 1-2 months before it's out.

We better be getting a blow out showcase during the Pro announcement, because their current confirmed line up is looking a little anemic.

I think a decent State of Play is way more likely. We'll get a legit Concord trailer and maybe some Xbox ports.
