I see... Well go for the PS5 Pro then and get the Blu-Ray disc drive, a 2-4 TB's NVME M.2 SSD (I do recommend the Samsung 990 Pro one) and if you feel like it then the stand as well... And you might later on also consider getting the DualSense Edge controller and maybe a Pulse Elite headset or Pulse Explore earphone for it

And well the PS5 Pro console covers/plates should be out some time in 2025 if you want to get one and then so should you be good and then so do you just need to get all of the good games until the PS6 is out in 2028 or 2029.

The PS2 sounds in the theme are so classic, but something about these PS3 sounds are so smooth

Also the PS4 menu sounds should not be this nostalgic to me yet

man these 30th anniv. themes are kinda tacky imo. the sounds and boot ups are nice but the ui changes are just large pngs slapped onto the screen. really clutters up everything and gets in the way of each game's splash image

Yeah the actual look of the themes are half assed and look bugged

idk why they didn't just replicate the PS4's theme setup: a main, possibly animated, splash image and some themed icons that then switches to the game's splash/promo image when you motion downward on the title's thumbnail

also seeing the different gens of PS games grouped together in the store really lays bare how poor Sony's preservation efforts have been especially when the PS1 and 2 eras were pretty crucial for them

Bruh my PS5 controller joystick drifting after only 4 months...I thought Joycon and Nintendo Switch Pro controller were the bad guys but man, this is on every modern console so far. Sheesh...I feel like when joysticks became clickable buttons is when this trend started.

Man I hate that this is a regular and nowadays expected occurrence. My Switch controllers started drifting after a few months, one of my Xbox Series S controllers started drifting after a few months, and now my PS5 controller...

looking back, it's kinda sad that my childhood gamecube controllers with the peeled rubber sheath and exposed wires functions more than the new s***...and they want me to pay for a controller that's worth more than a f***ing video game?
