If retro was under sony and microsoft where do you think they'd be now. Management and incompetence are problems that stem from the parent company, as was the case with the studios that MS and Sony closed, and my example was proof that at least in this aspect Nintendo doesnt follow that terrible trend because at least they care a bit more about their own creatives

And what do you mean last you longer than the PS4? I mean Sony will of course still release games for it whether the PS6 is out Holiday 2027 or later... But assuming your last PlayStation console was indeed the PS4 so will this feel like a worthy return to the PlayStation platform for sure.

I got my 4 in 19 so I’ve only had it for 5ish years. I just hope I’m able to get as much out of the 5 given the price point.

Oh yeah you should be good for the next 5 years at least because if you're going to wait until the PS6 Pro is out to get another PlayStation console then you might as well game on it for the next 5-6 years at least yeah.

And well personally so don't I think I'll get the PS6 day 1 unless it has some must have games as I waited 2 years before I got my PS5 but got the PS5 Pro day 1 though back in late 2024 aka Holiday 2024.

But depending on how next-gen is so will I maybe consider waiting until the PS6 Pro is out to get a new PlayStation console as I've also to take into consideration the handheld version of the PS6 dropping the same year as the PS6 console... So yeah I'll basically get what I feel is worth it and makes sense for me.

Yeah the only reason I’d get a 6 is if there are exclusives I want to play. That’s why I’m getting the 5 - gta vi, intergalactic and astro boy. I’m sure I’ll find other games to play as well. Somebody earlier mentioned like Samos or Sonos or something g like that.

Exactly there's got to be something worth it day 1 or not many months after the PS6 is out to convince me to get one before at least 1-2 years has passed for me to finally get a PS6.

But I am for sure getting one either before the PS6 Pro is out or when the PS6 Pro is out though.

Oh yeah Saros is out April 30th 2026... And if you do like it then get Returnal as well as it's like it and is good too.

And of course get Wolverine and GTA VI this year as well if they don't get delayed until early-mid 2027
