Split can’t be 100% to Sony while carried in stores otherwise stores wouldn’t carry . Whether it’s a code in a box or a disc the store I think will want a similiar sum to previously

@maxxing Well it'll both be a console and handheld that should be able to play all of the PS4-PS6 games but the handheld is of course less powerful so it won't be the same resolution/framerate of course.

They arent really thinking about that. They are hoping their fanbase acquiesces to the future and letting them know early. The true defining factor is which stores will and wont go for the code in the box . Because instead they could decide just not to carry digital only games. Because sales wise the cuts not worth putting on shelves. Might as well just sell PSN cards. Especially since the rate of collectors editions will go down
