This just isn’t true. I’m guessing you just buy physicals and think you’re getting good deals but not actually checking the sales that ps store does every month

Games are often way cheaper digitally than physically. At least on PlayStation store, idk about other stores like eshop or steam but definitely PlayStation does huge sales all the time, even a month or 2 after a game releases. Meanwhile physical copies take almost a year to get a great sale.
