My issue is that the Xbox Series S expansion 1tb expansion is £160, and releasing on day of release.

Nope... As I said the write speed is almost half of the PS5's. So I think in 2021 so will the first one be ready. Around early-mid 2021 probably.

Also the 2 TB version of this Samsung NVME M.2 SSD should be out in like 2-3 months... Which still isn't enough. I hope that the 2021 SSD's will be 4-8 TB's and have the right write speed!

Btw it looks like the XSX will finess its users... Over $200 for more than half of the speed

160 pounds still puts the xbox expansion card at just about 200 usd, so i dont see what the issue is. The samsung ssd is literally over twice the speed of the xbox expansion at the same size.

Plus with the xbox card being proprietary, its price will drop much slower, if at all, compared to consumer ssds since those actually face competition

Dont know why you need so much storage on launch day since youre not gonna have enough games to fill up your internal storage, and any PS4 games you wanna use will work fine from an external HDD like you said

Might have to cancel my PS5 preorder and go with the Series X for a more powerful console + Bethesda exclusives
