Some people like to collect their physical disc copies/steel book editions. Some people prefer a digital library and pre-downloading games and jumping right in when it releases. Some people don't like the clutter of boxes anymore. Some are worry that they might not like the game they bought and will return/trade it eventually. Other people wait on games till theres an online sale for them.

Different because the PC market has completely transitioned over to digital. You can't go into the store and buy physical PC games.

I'on even plan on getting any physical ps5 games atm but I'm not about to remove that option altogether to save a hundred bucks now

Most of my PS4 library is digital but I easily saved over $100 on the 8-10 physicals I do have for PS4.
