I think Amazon might put out a small amount of pre-orders on launch day eve.
I remember they did that for PS4 and that's how I got mine.

I'd probably give customer support a call sounds like it'd be the most immediate way to get help
Think you can change it if you put your birthday in, tho I was 12 when I got my PS3 so I def lied about my s*** and don't remember what birthday I put
