3rd person action adventure is such a broad term, it’s like saying fantasy fiction novel, that could contain any kind of story not just the ones you associate with it. Death stranding proved that imo. Last of us pt. 2 might prove that. Ghost of Tsushima is a historical period piece about 13th century japan and the Mongol invasion, just because it’s a 3rd person action adventure doesn’t mean truly mean anything to how you will feel playing it. death stranding flipped basic mechanics like movement on its head and actually experimented with online and community mechanics in a way that changed the experience, just because you can put death stranding in a 3rd person action adventure category doesn’t truly mean anything. Those are empty words...

Last of us 1 is overrated so I don't have any hope for this game.

Ghosts of tushumma looks generic and like an easy mode sekiro....let's see how that plays out. Alot of sony games play exactly the same down to the camera angle....its as formulaic as you can get.

gears of war and halo have dogshit narratives and writing, so I guess if you’re into dogshit then when you look at a game with a good story like death stranding or tlou2 you probably think “oh it’s just another 3rd person action adventure”

The new gears is underrated and so was halo 5's multiplayer. But you are a blind fanboy so dont expect you to think about it longer than 5 secs before you hate.

Ghost of Tsushima is an extremely deep and atmospheric game that goes way beyond sekiros gameplay. Ghost has a deep narrative and focuses on exploration and freedom, not pressing buttons in the correct way to dodge 5000 attacks at the right time lol

The game is mostly about defeating enemies to continue to the next area, right, and defeating enemies requires you to dodge and then attack or attack and then dodge I get it really fun

GoT... it’s more of a huge open map like breath of the wild or Skyrim but set in a historical piece about the mongolian invasion, it’s filled with side quests and people to talk to, etc.
