Sony direct sent me a PS5 that didn’t work and after filing a support claim it took a month for them to respond. And then they tell me I have to send it in and wait for them to check it before they can even begin to ship me a replacement

Thats why I just chose to wait it out and get one in spring or summer

Sure, you can send it back and they'll fix it, but with the volume of s*** they got going on its gonna take forever for you to get a replacement.

base gen is basically old tech now and you saw from cyberpunk that a ambitious game like that can't perform well on previous generation

don't expect to see a lot of cross-gen games going forward.

SSD on the ps5 is more powerful than any external USB HDDs and external USB SSDs on the market.

sure majority of games haven't gotten a ps5 compatibility patch but yes performance overall is greatly effected. it's just best to play games off the consoles SSDs

still feels like they havent even dropped

they'll load a bit faster, been playing from my HDD and noticed only slightly better load times when playing from SSD

Don’t feel like the hassle of transferring games back and forth I want to play. Need them to get on that expandable storage inside the PS5 asap
