yeah it really sucks d*** (not in a good way)
Listened to it so many times trying to like it. Can’t. Also, her attitude in the rollout was very off-putting.
One of her worst albums easily
Daddy's Home isn't a good album imo but I think it's ok. I consider it a step up from the one before that though. Hope she ditches Antonoff.
I still can't believe Daddy's Home happened, like trash music aside it irreversibly tarnished her brand

it tarnished her brand? in what way?
i actually enjoy this album much more than i initially did tbh

Annie just said a lot of dumb s*** in interviews during the press tour. She also got a lot of heat for trying to kill an interview out of fear, and the journalist that conducted it ousted her for it.

i vaguely remember that s*** about the reporter…that is f***ed up fr though. it reminds me when Chance did the same thing a while back.
do you remember what she said in those other interviews? if not, it’s ok i’ll just look it up myself

The whole interview is here emmamadden.com/post/st-vincent-told-me-to-kill-this-interview
The interviewer defninitely put her on the spot an had an angle she wanted the interview to head into, but Annie really, really did not handle it well...
She played a show with David Byrne in Brooklyn last night. A fan was able to talk to her after the show and Annie spoiled a little bit about the album. It's completely self-produced, more guitar-oriented
what a lovely discography she continues to add to. this one is self produced right, or did i make that up

yeah i think that’s the rumor
So it seems like the album is done and she's just finding the right time to start the rollout. My guess is after Mitski, The National and Sufjan, so we're most likely getting the lead in January
NEW ERA LOADING

All Born Screaming
Lmao how does that even happen
Lmao how does that even happen
vinyl site posted it early, she probably means to announce fairly soon and they jumped the gun. happens a few times a year to big releases lol sucks for the artist
Cover looks NUTS.
Shred album maybe?
Reminds (if that’s the way to put it) of the soldier who just burned himself in regards to the protest… weird timing
