so ive been wanting a tat for like a year now and i have no idea what I want still
I cant think of anything thats important enough to me to get it literally put on my body forever. Can anyone share their process when it comes to brainstorming ideas? I assume it gets significantly easier after the first one
i come up with an idea or see a flash that i like. i usually think on it for a week or so
if i got the funds i get the flash or if it’s an idea i look for an artist that i think would do well while i save
but since it’s your first tattoo i recommend thinking on for longer until you got no doubts
Is it customary to tip the tattoo artist? If so by how much?
Always tip ya damn artist. At least 20%
Is there a name for this style other than just "abstract"? Big fan of their work and they aren't far but they only do stick and poke. I don't have any other tattoos so I don't know much about stick and poke like pain, if it fades faster, etc. Anyway, reminds me a lot of Franz Kline and De Kooning
