He ain’t no Roddick or Pete. Still fun tho but Alcaraz is another level even on hard court probably his weakest surface
Thought the discourse was grass was his weakest especially considering experience

Yeah maybe grass I didn’t watch him play there. I think he had a favorable draw at US tho to get this far. If I was predicting his career I think he’ll win like 2 US opens, 6-8 French, 2 Australian and 3-4 Wimbledons.
iga been playing trash all hard court season then found her form for these last 2 matches lol smh
The new king has arrived
Was third row his first match of the tournament. So hype I got to see one of the matches in his first slam

him being world number 1 at 19 is crazy and i think we can truly say new gen limbo is over and we are in a new era

Carlos deserves it
however this was a pretty weird open
I would have rather see him play
Med, Nadal or Kyrgios in the final but it didn't work out that way
Djokovic and Zverev both not able to compete
I think if anyone deserves it Carlos does but yeah
People doing a lil too much w all the “the new era of tennis is here” type stuff lol are we forgetting Rafa & Novak won 3 of the slams this year between them? and Alcaraz himself admitted he got lucky that Rafa was injured and Novak wasn’t allowed to compete.
Let’s see who wins Aus 23 before we start talking like that
@op update thread to Federer retirement..
