Love the focus he came out with from the start. Well deserved
Was not expecting #4 so quick. Dudes pretty much a legend already
4 slams at 21, already won a slam on all 3 surfaces, beat Djokovic in 2 slam finals, done the French - Wimbledon back to back, and now successfully defended a slam. Probably gonna complete the calendar slam in January. Bruh

Olympics are at Roland Garros this month. Has an open chance for even a Golden Slam
Alcaraz is gonna retire with 50 slams. The current gen of men’s tennis is some garbage

what about sinner?
It was fitting it went to tiebreak in the end. Only made it a more comprehensive win for alc cuz when doesn't Novak clutch out an important tiebreak

4 slams at 21 is crazy but competition and injuries get to you pretty fast as well. You never know.

Yeah that’s true, I remember everyone having a similar “who’s gonna stop him” mentality after Wimbledon last year then we got peak Med in New York and peak Zverev in Melbourne.
And with his style of play I do believe he’ll be Rafa 2.0 in terms of constantly dealing with injuries but still.. when he plays as dialled in and focused as he did today, he’s a real problem for everyone on any surface

For sure. he got the technical and mental combo on lock
what about sinner?
Sinner can beat Carlos in best of 3 but his fitness in Bo5 slams is very shaky and a real problem since. Carlos gets stronger as the matches go on.
But let’s see what happens over the US Open / summer hard courts.

yeah, I think we underestimate the longevity of the big 4 and think it's just going to be the same for carlos and future top players when it was extremely atypical.
