Its just huge. If Djokovic wins he's might get to 25 GS wins. If Rafa wins whew that would be his sweetest GS victory ever. Over Djokovic and tying Fed. yeah I get that, but there's more to that conversation than GS victories imo. weeks at #1, masters 1000s, h2h still matter. plus 12 of nadal's 19 gs titles are on one surface. he's the clay goat, but it gives me pause to give him the overall goat title. on the other hand, djokovic beating nadal in the finals at Roland garros would be huge. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Oh cmon lol Nadal is the GOAT if he is tied with Fed. Fed is clearly 3rd. I really have no idea how tennis fans still think Fed is even in the conversation after the domination both have had over him over the last decade(even longer in Nadals case).

Even with the little winning streak he had over Rafa in 17' he's still way behind in H2H lol and Djoker beat him 3 straight Wimbledon finals?! I mean cmon. The only reason you'd think Fed is the best is because "he's more graceful" "plays prettier" or w.e lol Fed got a lot of slams b4 Nadal and Djoker became Nadal and Djoker. yeah I actually think djokovic is in the driver's seat to be #1 when it's all said and done. I'm hesitant to give nadal that title when djokovic has the h2h advantage and has won 6 straight finals against him back in 2011 (I think?) when both were in their absolute primes. even if nadal ends up with more slams, that's a big hole in his resume to ignore. so with this final coming Sunday, nadal doesnt gain as much as djokovic does if djok were to win because nadal is supposed to win it. just my opinion

Obv the h2h is positive for nadal, but roger really has the momentum in their rivalry now having won 6 of last 7 they have played, with rafa kind of being pummeled in about 3 of them. It's not just about the AO match.

really think the goat title, at least in terms of the numbers, is up for grabs for Djokovic. He clearly has his eyes set on the records and wont retire till he gets them all. Dont think Nadal will be able to outlast him in that race
