    wow I expected sooner

    ok thanks

Hard to imagine them moving onto a mass market car at this point when they can’t produce the Cyber Truck or X/S fast enough.

S*** even the Model 3 is still not perfect in terms of production. Honestly, I think 2025 would be an aggressive prediction for it at this point tbh. Unless they’re ok with huuuuuge backorders.

Are there any physical differences between Plaid Model S and long range model S? Seems all the videos I watch are mixed, some will say the plaid has slightly wider body n pronounced wheels, and others say there is no physical difference

Soooo pumped that the Holiday Update is finally getting automatic blind spot cameras on the screen when you turn.

It feels like I’m driving an archaic car at times without that or especially the blind spot indicator light on the side mirrors.

It’s been just over a year now since I chose a Model 3 over the Lexus & Mercedes I was looking at, and I gotta say… it was the right choice

    1) Autopilot is the real winner here. I always hated driving on the highway for extended periods of time. It fatigued my eyes & my brain 💀 But now that Autopilot does everything, I put more miles on my Tesla in a year, than I put miles on my previous car in 3 years.

    2) The other winner here should be obvious. It’s Electric. I just plug it in to an outlet in my garage every night and it’s fully charged by the next morning. Ive saved hundreds and hundreds on gas.

    3) My insurance went from thousands a year to a $100 a month. I thought I got the wrong quote at first, but my agent says it’s because the car is so safe. (And brand new)

Those are just the biggest Pros to me.

    Some other small things:
•it’s faster than 99% of cars on the road
•it’s quieter than 100% of the cars on the road
•the simplicity of the interior is unexpectedly calming
•the seats are the most comfortable in the industry (wish they were perforated & had cooling though)

    • a s*** ton more.

I have no big Cons to the experience, but here are some small ones:
•Had to change the air filter because mine got stinky, which is common.
•The recent UI update made some weird decisions, but I like the overall direction it’s heading.

In conclusion, I don’t think I’ll ever buy a different brand of vehicle again.

    Overall experience 9.9/10

If anyone has any questions, I’d love to help.

Is buying a used one more dangerous in error vs a japanese car like Toyota or Honda?

I'll make sure to run any future headlines past Tesla public relations for some spin first.

The media has been the most valuable tool in Tesla's history besides green credit sorcery. This is like Trump fans complaining about news coverage. Very naive if not outright disingenuous. That's of course true of businesses in general, but this company has been saved from destruction by unscrutinized press runs multiple times. An actual critical headline would include Musk having just sold off a ton of shares before this was announced.

Buy the dip and stop crying. It's not like their product even reflects their value.

Yes, and I posted a headline about this brand of cars which you took issue with. Then I addressed your weird gripe with my post in detail. Why are upset now? You don't seem very bright. Maybe you should Google some of the things you talk about.

The number of cars being recalled is nearly equivalent to the firm's global deliveries last year.

Braindead Tesla simp: That's not news worthy, hater

The major recall is for 14% of total Model S delivered, which is around 70,000 vehicles. This recall is to secure the front trunk from de-latching. There are no known instances of this causing an accident.

The rest of the recall is for most Model 3s made before October 2020, which is about 350,000 vehicles. This is due to the manual closing trunk interfering with a wire that connects to back up camera.

The fix is putting a guard on the wire…

Tesla delivered 500,000 vehicles last year.

2021 is looking to nearly double that.

& 2022 will approx. double that

Because you are failing to comprehend what this recall is…

    Rent Free

    I’m saying tho

I’ve never before seen a car company of all things live rent free in so many peoples minds before. And the funniest part to me is that the vast majority of these people have never even driven a Tesla before. They just feel so strongly about it for some reason.

I could care either way about Elon Musk. I just love everything about my car after driving it for 16k miles now. Great post about yours btw
