I love Tierra, but a lot of this just sounds half-baked.

I think she has an issue with crafting full songs. That's why a lot of her tracks just sound like unfinished ideas.

    Just my opinion.

i was so happy for this album, i thought she was gonna finally drop a full length album with songs longer than 2 minutes but nah it's the same formula that makes everything sound unfinished.

most of the songs are going nowhere, she's always semi-rapping or semi-singing but at the end she's basically talking. a big pass.

im sorry but her bars on a lot of these tracks are just so ehh. like misbehave feels like a slight rework of a studio freestyle. in general im tired of emcees that have the capability to write about so much but instead choose to just flex on us peons. like idgaf that you have chanel bags or whatever the Q album suffered from the same problem. how many years are these niggas gonna rap the same s*** at us? half of em lying anyway. at least both these albums seem to also have a lot of the introspective s***

yeah i fw her on her sad s*** but idk this whole album feels like it should’ve been released back then tbh. Even on these introspective tracks it sometimes feels like she’s just rhyming s*** maybe with a vague topic in mind and that’s about it. Nothing really all that memorable

only as far as the content i listened once so far yesterday but thought it was pretty balanced. some light hearted, goofy stuff Tierra is known and loved for. then some heavier, more depressive topics. i imagine some writers get sick of writing sad or heavy s*** all the time. sometimes it's get in the booth and stunt mode

yeah but im saying neither of those sides were really all that substantial for me. either empty flexing or vaguely sad girl s***. to be honest my favorite side of her is when she bars out but is also singing and when she’s on that sad s*** like on 2020’s Heaven… now that’s a little masterpiece of a track conceptually, lyrically and musically. i liked 27 club off this too. maybe it’s wrong of us to expect evolution after six years but unfortunately an artist like her kinda created that expectation by coming out the gate by being so transgressive

musically this album is aight, my fav track off whack world is still prolly fruit salad and she is definitely in that bag here, a lot of this is a straight r&b record, she sounds like starrah tbh. im just not taken by her bars, it almost feels like she’s struggling to figure out what to rap about. even on some of the sad songs it feels like she’s filling space with random recycled flexes

you’re prolly right but that’s a problem for me, granted some of these tracks do got vibes in spades. imaginary friends is nice, that one works well lyrically. im on my second listen my opinion bound to change

i can’t help but laugh at tracks like snake eyes with bars like “im up next” or “they think im a threat” girl no one thinks this about you not for years now. this was just not the bag for her to be in this late in the game is all im sayin maybe i should see it in a different way like she’s hyping herself up like confidence wise but yeah idk

the sung tracks are so much better than the attempted “hard” tracks here for me they seemed way more involved and thought out

    It’s poignancy in the simplicity

Doing an album full of UNEMPLOYEDs would’ve been too easy

Yeah I think she's struggled to find her voice as an artist.

A lot of these songs followed a similar formula. I liked the tracks but it was super apparent over the course of the project.

Production is dope asl all over this joint just the song structures on a good amount of these are so similar

    On second listen now

Extremely mid, she doesn't have the best voice and she just beats you on the head with it, first and last my favorite, Flo Milli for the W
