Bruh.. I wish Tip would’ve released more things like this.
Imagine if he would’ve capitalized on The Mixtape era more like Wayne did
he would’ve been bigger!
If ive heard over 100's of unreleased tracks by now Im sure he has 10 times that amount in the stash. Now imagine if he utilized all that..
I’m on discord heavy now. Still got the unreleased stuff on there?

Tip played some new music on live
Some fire too. At the end he said he’s not putting out music until someone wants the music out more then he does
The music on the live sounded really good. He said him and Toomp did 9 songs in one night.
-Also played a song with Thug that sounded fire. Played another song that sounded like a Juicy J/Three 6 mafia beat that was also hard.
The live is still up on IG

The Young Thug track prod by Metro Boomin ' sounds very dope. So did the next song that where the chorus went "F them h**s" ..
Heard another joint with Lil Keed that sounded pretty dope. He was in the process of making a song with Vory as well.
Unfortunately at the end he said he has no interest in putting any music out until he finds a partner/label that share his passion.
He also said it's not about money but let's be honest, it's probably about money lol.

He should’ve never left Atlantic. Seems like every album since Trouble Man he has jumped around from label to label for albums to be released

Its pretty annoying, also didnt help that Paperwork and Dime Trap were basically botched by the labels too

Agreed. Leaving Atlantic was a terrible career choice. Literally every album since has been with a new label.

This will be like the 3rd time ive told KTT manz that he left Atlantic due to the fact that all his peers over there was pushed out or left. Nobody there he knew was there so he definitely wouldnt have the same power he always had in atlantic until that point.
Not only has this been said here but hes also said it interviews. Makes me question if you guys really care at all for TIP.
But also Do tell us how that is a terrible career choice.
Yall garbage as f*** We dont even deserve KTK

Lol relax. Fact is his career has been a mess since then. Paperwork dropped on Columbia and was a mess. Dime Trap dropped on Epic and was horribly handled. LIBRA basically dropped without a label, just Empire which does digital distribution only.

Paperwork is the only mess. Dime Trap is fine as it is. Thats not on TIP thats on Epic records f***ing it up.
He wanted to go independent so he went with EMPIRE because they gave him the best deal. Nothing surprising about that. The only problem with LIBRA is that Hitmaka was in charge.
And if Hitmaka wasnt in charge You'd have songs like "Aint S*** Changed" Ft. Teyana Taylor which you could argue for one of TIPs best songs ever done.

F*** Hitmaka 🗣
I thought Dime Trap was decent…but I do have some qualms about it
But the main thing that bothers me here is the consistent presence of generic, mainstream pandering, and just downright bothersome hooks.
These problems extend to You, Amazing F*** Up, At Least I Know, and especially Be There - which could come straight off that Lupe album Lasers. I don’t know why Tip insists on hovering around these tacky pop elements. The reason has always been “Evil Columbia”, but they’re out of the picture and he’s still doing this.
When he weaves together this complex narrative, fills the album with such incredible lyricism and detail, then having these radio bait interjections just feels like a compromise to the art.
I know Victoria Monet is an essential part of the Tip story, but at this point I’d be happy never to hear her voice again. It’s been proven over and over, Tip is just not meant for these sugary hooks.
Above all, it’s just not necessary - Tip himself is a pretty excellent hook writer/performer. Look at More & More, Wraith, Light Day, What Can I Say… He has no problem mixing the depth of his verses with overt catchiness, he doesn’t need to rely on melodramatic dime a dozen studio vocalists.
The production has its low points here and there when he goes into the pop realm, but the majority is incredibly textured, and feels like an extension of the sound on his past albums. Ti over organ, church style beats is beautiful, and I hope one day he commits to that for an entire project. There are a lot of little moments here that show how much effort was put in. 2 that stick out is the amazing instrumentation from his oldest son Messiah on Light Day and the fantastic, grand beat from myguymars on Seasons
Overall, I think Tip deserves the praise coming his way - when everything comes together, he’s capable of making some of the most incredible pieces of music to come out the genre. It was an ambitious task to make something like this, and for the most part he does it as well as possible. But it’s not close to perfect, and that’s even more frustrating considering how amazing the heights he reaches are. What I’m left with is a flawed but brilliant work, that could just have been brilliant if he stopped trying so desperately for the mainstream recognition that isn’t going to come back to him. I’m still completely immersed, and I don’t see myself letting go of this for a while. It’s a great album, but it could’ve been even more
Epic screwed up is the point. Meaning it wasn't the right label for him. I have no idea why he put Hitmaka in charge of LIBRA. They had no prior history of collaboration to my knowledge. Although LIBRA is my favorite album of his previous 3.
The LIBRA is what I thought The Dime Trap was going to be.
Same the original Dime Trap sounded very exciting
The LIBRA is what I thought The Dime Trap was going to be.
Dime Trap s***s on LIBRA in terms of production. Not lyrics.
Dime Trap is great the way it is.

Ewwww no
The Libra had more revised beats anyway because of Sample Issues but still no
