You think my argument is not to vote at all? You have the option to meaningfully vote for progressive candidates as a California resident and you turned it down to vote for a guy that helped this deal go through

It’s kinda wild to me that when the South seceded, the North was like “nah dawg, you with us for life or against us for life” “we’ll kill you if you leave us”

Why did the North need to stay linked to the South?

Going to look it up but like to put my thoughts down anyways and start the dialogues

Going off the top of my head, isn't it more so that they are trying to preserve the nation as one as opposed to allowing it to split off into two.

What should have happened is that all the Confederate leaders and supporters should have been executed for treason

I coulda swore the north also relied on the south in some way and would suffer if south seceded so it was like a life or death situation??

I don't understand why cops are allowed to be so skittish when it comes to potential danger. A civilian's life ought to be worth more than someone who volunteers to protect the public. Harsh prison sentences should be enough of a deterrent against harming cops. They just instantly assume a random shoplifter or someone who's stopped for speeding wants to commit cold blooded murder
