u right, its same as PC but $499 USD not $1499 USD and with console u have easy plug & play setup for couch/tv play

but gamepass is 120 a year for the lowest tier so at minimum you’re paying 600+ over the next 5 years to get all those games

couldn’t I buy like 10 games with that money (more if I wait a few weeks to buy secondhand/used) and at the end of those 5 years I can play those games forever, instead of being locked in to keep paying 120-180 a year

some games are removed from the service too so it’s not the same as ownership at all

gamepass is good for trying out something to figure out if you wanna buy it outright tho, and other consoles don’t have anything quite like it, so Xbox is worth it

no first party games are ever going to be removed

the list of Game Pass games imma play in the next 5 years and have played in the last 1 year easily exceed the cost of 5 years of Game Pass

if i wanted to play all of these on a PS5 id pay way more than that and half of these wont make it onto PS at all, if i want to enjoy on PC its the same extra costs for a good PC + game pass:
